Ich packe meinen Koffer...

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello everyone!
For today's post over at the Cards und More Shop Blog I made this suitcase.

I used the Box Art stencil Suitcase by Dutch Doobadoo for this suitcase.
As an image I went with this Tilda and used some die cuts matching the travel theme - a camera, an earth die cut, the filmstrip by Noor!Design and a city's silhouette.
The suitcase was cut from dark craft cardstock, the layers on top from a lighter shade of craft cardstock. Then I gave these a faux leather look - I first made the paper wet, then crumbled it and flattened it again after drying. Then I added some Distress Ink to the creases. Also the edges of the suitcase got some Distress Ink so the contrast isn't too hard.
I added some postage stamps and some white Distress Crackling Paint to the top layers.
The closures and the key that I tied to the handle was covered with golden embossing powder.

Also the back of my suitcase is decorated - again with postage stamps and Distress Crackling Paint and this beautiful metal corner.
